c. Should have good understanding of screen reader NVDA or JAWS.
d. Should have average to good spoken and written communication in English.
e. Should have Laptop/desktop with good internet connection.
f. Should have good problem solving and Analytical skills.
Description
The Accessibility Developer course is a specialized program designed for testers who are interested in transitioning to the role of developer. It is specifically curated to provide candidates with a comprehensive understanding of accessibility-related requirements for creating accessible aria widgets.
The course covers a wide range of topics related to accessibility, including the implementation of different aria widgets, various aria roles and attributes, their impact on users of assistive technology, and expected keyboard operability of each widget, among other accessibility and general requirements. Candidates will also learn how to give recommendations on how to ensure that the UI components are accessible.
One of the primary goals of this course is to equip candidates with a deeper understanding of accessible UI components, including the impact of different roles and attributes on assistive technologies, expected keyboard operability, and more. Additionally, the course will explore the importance of creating accessible content and designing user interfaces that are easy to navigate for users with disabilities.
Throughout the course, candidates will engage in hands-on activities that will help them develop practical skills in accessibility development.
