Legal compliances are a technical matter, and there are CAs and Lawyers to take care of it. So why should the rest of us really care about it?

Because a lot of NGOs, specially the new and small ones, do not have a reliable and consistent legal counsel. Often times, Founders are left to google the regulatory requirements when making major decisions. Those who do have access to advisors get a variety of opinions, which sometimes contradict each other.

This 2-day masterclass aims to provide the Founder, Trustees and even accountants, CAs and lawyers working with nonprofits, with definitive and clear understanding of 3 different types of nonprofits and the regular + annual compliances associated with each type.

About the speaker

Ms Shilpi Kulshrestha is Corporate Lawyer and Company Secretary with 13 years of experience working with businesses and nonprofits. In a hyper fragmented legal sector, Ms Shilpi provides holistic legal solutions and legal counsel to organizations with her venture businezexcellence.
She was awarded the "40 under 40" award as well as performance excellence award by Compliance 10/10 in 2020. She's an associate member and visiting trainer for the Institute of Compacy Secretaries of India, Delhi and Noida chapter. She is also a mentor for startup companies at Stanford Seed Spark program and NASSCOM Tech start-up programs.

Her expertise lies in business registration, compliance and contract management, as well as offering virtual general counsel to help organizations navigate the often-complex processes seamlessly. With her venture Businezexcellence, Ms Shilpi aims to enable organizations to access top-notch, accurate and trustworthy legal advice without the need for a full-time in-house legal team.
